Capital City Studio is making history!! We are the 1st studio in Lincoln for Baton Twirling!! The studio is owned & operated
by Mandy Adcox.
It is the main goal of Mandy and the studio teachers to instill a great love and appreciation for Baton, Dance & Cheerleading
while learning the importance of hard work, dedication and teamwork. At Capital City we will focus on learning the sports
of Baton Twirling and Cheerleading and the art of Dance in a fun and safe learning environment!! We always use age appropriate
costumes and music!! It is our job at the Studio to get each student to Shine Like a Star!!!

Mandy Adcox
Owner/Director
Mandy Adcox has been twirling & dancing since the age of 2. She has received private training in Twirling & Dance
from the best teachers in the U.S. A competition twirler since the age of 3 she has won many awards & honors for her
twirling some include 11 time Miss Majorette of Nebraska, 16 time Nebraska State Twirling Champion & 6 time National/World
Twirling Champion she has also been honored to be a guest teacher & performer at various camps. She is registered in
coaching, safety & judging for Baton Twirling and cheerleading. Mandy was also Twirler & Varsity Captain of Cheerleading
at Lincoln Northeast and in college was a Twirler for the Huskers! Also active in pageantry she was Miss Panhandle 2003, Miss
Lincoln USA 2004 & 2005 and was a contestant in the 2003 Miss Nebraska, 2004 & 2005 Miss Nebraska USA pageants. She
is currently volunteering for the Miss Nebraska pageant system helping with choreography, production, and contestant preparation
for local pageants all over the state. Mandy has been teaching in Lincoln for the past 9 years and is the coach of the Capital
City Twirlers Baton & Pom competition team, & Capital City Stars Cheer Team. Her students have won many awards in
team and individual events. It is the goal of Mandy and the studio teachers to instill a great love and appreciation for
Baton, Dance & Cheerleading while learning the importance of hard work, dedication and teamwork!
