At Capital City Studio we offer classes for all ages! No matter how much experience in baton, cheerleading or dance your child
has had you will be sure to find the right class!! All classes will learn a routine to be performed at our annual recital.
Parents will enjoy the fact that we make sure all costumes and music are age appropriate. All classes at Capital City Studio
meet once a week for 45 minutes. Classes run by the month not the Session. Listed below are descriptions for all the classes
we will be offering for the 2006-2007 School year.

Two Much Fun!~ This class is for two year olds and an adult companion. Class will focus on learning proper stretching
technique, basic baton twirling and cheerleading skills.
Baton Twirling~ Baton twirling will be offered to children ages 3 and up. Classes will focus on learning baton twirling
skills, proper stretching, flexibility and teamwork.
Cheerleading/Pom~ Cheerleading/Pom will be offered to children ages 3 and up. This class will focus on proper stretching
technique, flexibility, cheerleading and pom fundamentals and teamwork. Class will learn a variety of cheers and chants as
well as pom dances.
Baton/Pom Combo~ The Baton/Pom Combo class will be offered to children ages 3-7. The class will learn baton twirling
and pom skills, stretching, flexibility and teamwork.
Jazz/Lyrical~ The Jazz and lyrical classes will be offered to children ages 3 and up. Classes will focus on strength
, flexibility, gracefulness, and technique. Jazz will encourage students to get moving to fun upbeat music and Lyrical will
encourage students to tell a songs story through dance.
Ballet/Tap~ This class will be offered to children ages 3 and up. The classes will focus on proper stretching, flexibility,
balance, ballet and tap skills, as well as strong and proper dance technique. This class will develop the dancer's stregnth,
ability & confidence.
Hip-Hop~ Hip Hop Classes are offered to children ages 6 and up. The class will focus on fun, exciting, and age appropriate
hip hop dances to fun and upbeat music. The class is very popular and encourages the student to find their own personality
and style on and off the stage.
Leaps & Turns~ The Leaps & Turns class is offered to students age 7 and up. Classes focus on proper technique
and approach to any leap or turn. Across the floor combinations and drills for solid leaps & turns will strengthen any
dancer or twirler on their ability and flexibility.
High School Cheer Prep~ The High School Cheer Prep class is an important class to take for anyone who is planning on
trying out for a High School Cheer Squad. Class will focus on all skills and elements required for High School Cheerleading
Tryouts. This Class is open to anyone in Middle or High School.
Competition Teams~ We are very proud to have competition teams for Baton Twirling, Dance and Cheerleading. The Capital
City Twirlers Baton Team compete in many competitions throughout the year including Nationals. Most of our team members compete
individually as well. We are the current Nebraska State Team Twirling Champions and the 2005 National Team Twirling Champions.
The teams also perform at many events throughout the year! The Capital City Stars Cheer Team will be competing for the first
time this season. They will compete at 4 or 5 local competitions this year! There are still openings on all the competition

Private Lessons~ Private lessons for baton twirling are available. If you are interested in competing individually in
baton twirling you must take private lessons to work on individual routines. Check with Director for available days and times.
